The Cottage at the Whinny Club

Our "cottage" is located in the city, but also on 6 acres of wooded land. It is very private for those wanting to enjoy a more natural scene. This is the perfect spot to come and get away from it all, while still enjoying a close proximity to downtown, historic Thomasville. Views of trees and wildlife from the windows give it a very secluded feel. Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere! If you smoke this is not the place for you. Dogs welcome, but not in bed/sofa! Strictly no cats! The space House was built in the 1940's as the clubhouse for the Whinny Club, a prestigious gentleman's horse boarding facility with riding ring. While the "horsey" days are over now, it still has lots of charm and character. Please note that guests need to sleep in beds. No sleeping on sofa. Guest access There is ample parking in the gravel driveway out front. Parking on the grass is discouraged. Other things to note Guests need to sleep in beds. No sleeping on sofa. No smoking on premises! No dogs in the bed or on sofa! Absolutely no cats!
