Beautiful lodge near the heart of everything Mt Hood has to offer. This home is cozy for a romantic getaway but also spacious for a group of 6. After a day on the mountain, home features a sauna, gear dryer. Living room has tv setup with ROKU. The back deck, with its hot tub, firepit and gas grill, is the ideal spot to sit back, relax and enjoy the forest views. Home is a very short walk to the Sandy river. This is a NO PET HOME Arrokoth lodge is registered with Clackamas county #756-21 The space This is a beautiful cabin near the heart of everything Mt Hood has to offer. The lodge is cozy for a romantic getaway for two but spacious for a group of six guests. After a day on the mountain, there is an electric furnace along with a wood burning stove and a fireplace to keep you extra warm. Living room has tv, ROKU setup. The kitchen features a microwave, dishwasher and oven as well as all of the amenities you’ll need to make a delicious home cooked meal. It also offers a coffee machine and a French press for some much needed hot coffee in the morning. Backyard has a propane grill and fire pit to enjoy those cold nights. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms each with a queen bed and luxurious comforters to sink into. One bedroom downstairs opens to the front porch where you can sit and enjoy a peaceful morning (and possibly view the neighborhood peacock) without disturbing any of your fellow guests. The upstairs features a loft bedroom with a king size bed along with a private bathroom and the BEST part... the attached sauna. Guest access All of the home is for you to enjoy except owner and housekeeping closets. We are located right off of Lolo pass on the shoulder of Mt Hood. You can walk approx 6 min from the cabin and find yourself next to Sandy river. Make sure to grab a beach towel and enjoy the beauty this secluded and serene beach has to offer. In the summer, guests may use the community pool and tennis court. We are ideally situated near hundreds of hiking trails, mountain biking trails, fishing, mushroom picking in the fall and world class skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. You’re approximately less than 15 min away from sandy ridge mountain biking trails, 20 min from Ski bowl, 26 min to Timberline lodge and 30 min to Mt hood meadows ski resort You are also just an hour away from Portland where you can experience all the mouth watering cuisine and culture that Portland is famous for. Things to note: The cabin backs up to Lolo pass road which is a two lane road and can be busy on a summer weekend. If you sit in the backyard, you may see and hear cars once in awhile. This should not disturb you while you are inside however if you are seeking a secluded cabin, this may not be your fit. The upside to this is easy access to all that Mt hood has to offer and the road is plowed past the cabin which makes winter driving much easier. Our cabin is located in a community of other cabins. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep the noise level to a minimum past 9 pm. Also, all cars must be parked on the driveway (which can accommodate three large cars). The lodge is a NO PET HOME and will occupy only a maximum of 6 people.
