Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property. The space Cabin includes Keurig coffee maker, with coffee, creamer and sugar. Kitchen includes basic cookware, plates, glasses, and utensils. Outdoor BBQ available. Guest access Your own private cabin with access to Feather River, walking distance from the cabin. You’re welcome to wander the 68 acre property, play the games in the yellow shack up on the lawn area (disc golf, baseball, basketball, horseshoes, corn hole, croquette, etc.). Other things to note We appreciate your well-behaved dogs as part of your family and welcome them to Paxton. Here’s the dog rules: Dogs must be supervised at all times. They’re not to be left alone in the cabin or outside. Please bring his bed, food, dishes, leash, poop bags, maybe a towel for his wet feet. Dogs are not allowed on bedding or towels. We understand that some dogs shed more than others, if your dog fits this description, please remove hair with the provided lint brush under the kitchen sink in your cabin. Thank you for understanding. Most guests do bring their dog here and they are happy to run and play on the grounds. Do not remove any items from your cabin - blankets, pillows, dishes, silverware, etc. Missing items will be charged from your deposit. Children shall be supervised at all times throughout the property. Caution! There is no lifeguard at the river. Do not leave pet or people food/scraps outdoors due to wildlife. Please take trash to green bin over by the lodge. Please wash all dishes prior to checkout. Propane BBQ's and Fire pits are available for your use, enjoyment and smores. Our septic system is old and fragile only flush business and TP. No sanitary products, towelettes, or wet wipes please. There are other cabins in near proximity, so please be mindful of noise. Oh, and yes, we have trains, they pass on their own schedule... even at night... Most importantly: ENJOY, PLAY, HIKE AND HAVE FUN!
