Welcome to Bamboo Carriage House originally built in 1920, a cute and comfortable guest house in the quaint and quirky village of Gulfport, Florida. Located just a short drive from downtown St. Pete and St. Pete beaches. Just 1.2 miles from Gulfport's waterfront district full of independent shops, restaurants, and galleries. Convenient to the Gulf beaches, Downtown St. Pete and Tampa. The space The cottage is a fully remodeled 1920s Dutch colonial carriage house that still has a lot of the original character and charm. It is approximately 1000 square feet, and has two bedrooms one with a full size bed the other with a queen size bed, one bathroom, an open living room/dining room, full kitchen, and Florida room fitted with a cute bistro set. An air mattress is available for an extra guest. The Bamboo Carriage House is furnished with our own furniture and accessories so that it feels like your own comfortable home. Our recently remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, serving and entertaining. The Carriage House has 3 AC units, ceiling fans, cable television, wireless Internet, private parking, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and a washer/dryer onsite (please note this is located on the first floor not in the unit- this is a shared space). All towels and linens are provided. For beachgoers, we offer complimentary beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and beach toys. Our Carriage House is the perfect home away from home during your visit to Florida's Gulf Coast. It's ideal for individuals, couples, or families. We are not "professional landlords." We just have an extra home on our property that we enjoy offering to visitors. We'd love to welcome you to Gulfport for your next visit. The Carriage House has its own private driveway with room for 2 vehicles only accessed from the alleyway. There is additional parking on the main street in front of the house if needed. Please note this property is in the city limits and recommend locking up property at all times. *The washer and dryer are located in the downstairs garage. This is a shared space. The garage is used for business inventory so can be messy. **There is no smoking or partying in the unit! This is strictly enforced and it could result in holding of your security deposit. Thank you very much. Guest access The guest will have access to the top floor of the carriage house and the bottom floor garage where the laundry room is located. Other things to note We have 2 dogs; Zoey and Cooper. They mostly stay in the house but periodically run around the backyard and suntan in the backyard. They are friendly, maybe too friendly. They are excited to meet all of our guests but if your not into dogs just let us know and we will make sure their outside time is limited.
