Description
The HONEYMOON SUITE at Locke B & B: While Locke B & B has 6 bedrooms, this listing is for the ONLY private suite in the house. (Don’t worry, we won’t check your marriage license.) Locke B & B is in the historic town of Locke, California, a destination for world travelers in search of rustic charm, leaning wood buildings, history, folklore, and (mostly made-up)ghost stories. Our tiny town is like no other! Locke is nestled between the Sacramento River and Snodgrass Slough (pronounced slew). The space Our open air community veranda overlooks historic Main Street-— best view in the whole town — and is a favorite community gathering place for all our guests to share, including our HONEYMOON SUITE guests. Honeymoon Suite also has its own little private veranda, it’s a super spot to drink your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the beautiful Delta Meadows State Park in Locke’s backyard. Guest access Locke B & B’s private “HONEYMOON SUITE” has its own private interior key-entry door to its kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, electric range, toilet, modern shower, private smaller open air veranda, queen bedroom, a/c and a roll-around heater. Private suite guests may also visit in the larger community veranda and community kitchen if they so choose. This HONEYMOON SUITE is the only room (of six) that has its own private: shower, toilet, kitchen and a smaller backyard veranda with a view of the tree line of the Delta Meadows State Park. During your stay Feel free to call host, Martha, for any questions or additional dining and local tourism suggestions. The delta towns have so much to offer, it’s hard to cover them all in a short stay. Lockeport (now called Locke) history spoken here! Other things to note Rent our entire upstairs for your upcoming anniversary, birthday, graduation, wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, music video, or Hollywood movie production. Note: Clint Eastwood filmed a scene for “Bird,” one of the many movies he produced and directed in 1988, right here, on our veranda over Main Street! Mr. Eastwood, if you’re reading this, we love you and hope you’ll come back for a visit again! Happy 96th birthday to you, in 2026!
