Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountains, Tahoe Donner is a quaint and family-friendly destination with a picture-perfect backdrop for both summer and winter activities. Just minutes from Donner Lake and amenities like swimming pools, fitness center, golf/tennis, bike rentals, & more. Ski resorts are also a short drive away. The space - SUMMER: Guests will have access to shared Tahoe Donner Association amenities including a private beach at Donner Lake, golf, tennis, hot tubs, swimming pools, fitness center, bike rentals, and more - WINTER: The house borders Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort (7min drive). Bigger resorts like Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, and Boreal are close by (20-30min drive). Sled at Tahoe Donner's Snowplay (9min drive). Guests will have access to Tahoe Donner Association amenities such as hot tubs, indoor fitness center, and more - WiFi available throughout the home - Workstation is set up in the master bedroom (pictured), and a small desk is located in the downstairs guest room (not pictured) - Kitchen is equipped with the basics (including pots/pans, light bakeware, kitchen utensils, and a Cuisinart Coffee Maker, Keurig, and Chemex for coffee or tea) - Natural Gas Grill available in warmer months (May-Oct) - Smart TVs are provided in the Great Room and Primary Bedroom - Primary bedroom has a double shower and a whirlpool tub - Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel are included in all showers - Bedding, towels, and beach towels provided - Washer and dryer are free to use - Note: The house is multi-level, with the Great Room and Primary Bedroom upstairs (second floor), and the two additional Guest Rooms downstairs (ground floor). There are portable gates provided to block the stairs from kids or pets as needed. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire home. Guests have shared access to amenities like pools, hot tubs, etc., located at various nearby recreation centers and shared with other Tahoe Donner Association guests. Other things to note - November-April is snow season. The house is at a higher elevation and gets heavy snow during peak winter season. All-wheel or 4-wheel drive is required, and sometimes tire chains are needed in addition to this during extreme conditions. - Power outages can occur due to weather or fire prevention. Please prepare for outages accordingly (coolers, portable charges, pre-downloaded entertainment, etc).
