Welcome to our restored barn project that evolved out of quarantine in July of 2020. This space was set up for creative or working professionals needing a place to hideaway, focus or perhaps hit the reset button. It’s a small but fun and cozy space that we wanted to create in our own unique way. Our barn project has a major emphasis on tech for working professionals. We have a top of the line PC/Windows set up as well as a docking station for Apple/Mac users featuring a 38” LG ultrawide and a 55” LG OLED above it. The master bedroom has a separate docking station for PC or MacBooks laptop users with dual 21” Dell monitors. The bedroom also features a 110” Epson Projector with an Amazon fire stick and a 4K Google Chromecast. You are also welcome to use all of the barn which consists of the garage, living room and bedroom. A deck overlooking a massive fire pit is your own private space. The property is located on 12 acres that it shares with Treetop Lodge and has a trail into the woods that ends at our little dock on the lake. You will have access to the whole barn which includes the washer and dryer included in the garage. We don’t live onsite but are blessed to have our “Uncle Michael” who lives onsite to assist if you necessary. However, you will have your privacy and feel free to hide out and do your own thing or feel just as comfortable asking him for help or guidance with anything :-) Located up the mountain and close to the downtown city of Lakeside where there is a grocery store, restaurants, and a local hardware store. 10 minute walk through our 12 acres to the lake or two mile drive to the nearest marina. Situated on the hilltop in the trees overlooking Tenmile Lake and the city of Lakeside. Tenmile Lake is a magical place where dozens of streams and creeks flow into the lake, filling it to various levels throughout the year, with one creek flowing out into the Pacific Ocean. It connects ocean with sand dunes, sand dunes with lake, lake with forest. It’s best accessible via car, renting a boat from the local marina or renting quad/ATV’s from Spinreel Dunes. Please Note!! We allow up to 4 guests to book. The sleeping situation is a King Size Bed in the main bedroom and a bunk bed in the living room. The lower bunk is a smaller twin size mattress so please be aware before booking :-) We do have direct access to the lake via a walking trail that meanders thru our 12 acres. At the end is a small dock with access to the lake to fish or swim.
