This WATERFRONT A-Frame house is located directly on a deep water canal with a PRIVATE DOCK. Located in a gated community with playground, in-ground pool, tennis & basketball courts. Rental includes kayaks & stand up paddleboard. You rent the entire house is located in the heart of the OBX! Two night stays considered via special request during the off-seasaon. The master bedroom has a queen bed and half bathroom. The second bedroom also features a queen bed and has a twin boat bed with pull out trundle. Additionally there is brand new modular furniture in living room that converts to a full-size sleeping area. This 1970 vintage A-Frame was the first home to be built in Colington Harbour. It has undergone a complete rehabilitation in 2017 to renovate and restore the home's character with a modern twist. The gold sconces in the bathroom are original to the home as are the plates from the late 1960's that have stayed with the home since the original owners. Even the contractors who worked on the extensive renovation couldn't help but smile and say "Wow! This house is cool!" It definitely has a GOOD VIBE! This is a private home and you will be renting the entire house. You will have access to the garage where there the kayaks, paddle boards, a couple beach chairs, sand toys, fishing poles & crab pots are stored. Self check-in lock box. We are looking for guests who will respect the tremendous amount of work we put into restoring this unique A-Frame. If you are interested in only staying two nights during the off season send a message and we will attempt accomodate you if possible. Colington Harbour is a gated community in the Outer Banks behind the Wright's Brother's Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Many permanent residents live in this deep water access community with community inground pool (seasonal use), tennis & basketball courts, and playground and small beach over looking the bay. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this location, yet being centrally located in the heart of OBX. Will provide guest a link to all the free parking spots at the ocean front. Parking in front of the house in driveway. Bring your own sheets, pillow cases & beach towels. Dish clothes & bath towels provided. Wi-Fi, Cable TV & DVD Player (not Blu-Ray) & Family Friendly DVDs included. Tennis rackets in garage for use in common areas. If you bring your own boat or jet ski, there is a small fee to use the boat ramp. The outdoor shower is fully enclosed with high walls. It has a changing area and hot and cold water. There is a standard tub/ shower in the full bathroom in the house also.
