Security doorbell. That's the quick rundown. Read further for details. We would love for you to enjoy our home away from home at the lake! This new home, built in 2019, has all the amenities for a relaxing stay on Greers Ferry Lake. It is a short walk to the lake, less that a block, with a gentle slope to the water. You can beach your boat, throw a fishing line, launch a kayak, or have a camp fire on this nice point at Stark's Landing. Sleeping accommodations are for 11 MAXIMUM. For security and confirmation of guests, video doorbells will verify that number. There is seating for 13 using the inside tables and bar area, folding TV trays for an additional 4, and then outside more seating and tables for 8. You will find the kitchen well stocked for any cooking and serving needs. Basic pantry items like salt, pepper, sugar, included. Besides the kitchen for cooking, there are 2 grills, one charcoal and one gas, chimney style smoker, and a large griddle that makes a tasty stir fry or great morning breakfast! Across the back of the home is a very expansive deck! Lots of room to relax and view the lake or entertain and cook out with family and friends. There are 2 living areas, so if the guys want football and the girls want a movie, there is plenty of space. Or the youngest want cartoons and the adults something different....it can happen. There are 3 TVs, 55", 65" and a 40 " in master bedroom. Most seating is leather, great for lake life. One sofa has 2 recliners, one on each end. There is seating for 4 at the game table, with leaves to extend to seat 6. (this can double as extra dining area). Fall and winter you can enjoy the fireplace with convenient gas logs or the outdoor firepit that can be used year round. There are playing cards, board, games, puzzles, and some DVDS . The bedroom arrangements are: 11 MAXIMUM GUESTS Master with king bed , full bath with walk-in shower. Bedroom 2) Queen bed Bedroom 3) Queen Bed Bedroom 4) Twin Bunk Beds & a twin trundle mattress Queen air mattress for common area The second bathroom has a tub/shower combination, located in a separate area from a double sink vanity. These can be used simultaneously. This is a DRY COUNTY, so be sure to bring along your favorite refreshment. The closest liquor stores are in Fairfield Bay, about 15 minute drive. Each bedroom has either a ceiling fan or floor fan, if you are like me and need that "white noise". This is the great outdoors, and with that comes some uninvited guest, so we suggest you bring bug spray for those chiggers, ticks and mosquitoes. Another common occurrence in the lake/rural area are slow internet connections at times.... not always, but it may not be as fast as those at your home. It is satellite internet, so be considerate of live streaming, the internet may revert to the slow connection if all the data is used. Parking is not a problem, lots of space for cars and boats/ATV's. And remember the boat launch areas are very close. You will have complete access to all areas, other than a locked closet, second fridge in the laundry area, and a couple of cabinets in the kitchen marked private, a locked antique ice box, and a locked wardrobe in the master bath. Canoe, kayak, or paddleboard on the lake sorry, no public transportation Minimum age requirement of 25 to rent No pets allowed. No smoking allowed inside. Ashtrays are provided outside. $200 additional cleaning fee if any evidence of smoking or vaping is discovered inside. Enter the parking area in the circle drive area by the 2 trees. The city has repaved the street, resulting in a large drop off by the parking area. This is a Dry County. No Liquor Store. Upon departure: Check out by 11 a.m. Additional fees will be charged if the house is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition when you arrived. Prior to your departure, please tidy up by doing the following: Please bag all trash and place in dumpster. Trash MUST Be BAGGED before placing in the dumpster or there will be a $75 charge for us to bag the trash. Move dumpster(s) to curb Place all dirty towels in the bathtub or shower floor, strip sheets from beds and leave in bedroom. Remove all perishable items Be sure all appliances , lights & ceiling fans are off. Load dishwasher and start.
