Enjoy a unique stay in a time capsule greenroom apartment above Milwaukee's iconic independent music venue, Cactus Club. Remodeled in February 2020 for bands and artists to comfortably stay the night, Cactus Club is now offering a limited time opportunity for guests to rent the greenroom. The kitchen carpet, drop ceiling and faux brick is original, dating back to the 50s. Wood paneling, crystal bathroom lighting, a rotary phone, antique bar station and beautiful old windows enhance the feel. Full-size bunkbeds were built in each room in February. The bathroom floor was tiled this spring. Guest access Exclusive access to the greenroom apartment and backyard of the club. Backyard features a bonfire area and picnic table. Other things to note While we are pet and kid-friendly, we encourage you to message us to inquire about events on your date of interest. At Cactus Club we host concerts, film screenings, workshops, poetry readings, drag shows, football halftime shows, book clubs, seed swaps, dance parties, retirement parties and much more. Some events can be loud and run until bar close, some events are quiet and end by 8:30p. Weekend nights are generally late and loud. The venue is closed most Mondays and Tuesdays so those are great nights for a quiet, family-friendly booking. Legal bar close in Milwaukee is 2a on weekdays and 2:30a on weekends. We typically close at midnight on weekdays, but can vary based on events. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions at all.
