Delicate stained glass koi greet you upon entry. Step through the original split door to an inviting entry with work space. A custom curtain feature separates the plush queen bed from the fully updated kitchen & generous living room. Bright windows by the bed & over the desk provide ideal light for Zoom meetings over our powerful internet. It’s hard to beat the view of the river from our couch. Put your feet up on the reclining leather sectional & catch a game on the 54-inch TV while sampling our Keurig collection—or enjoy Grand Designs while making a whole coq au vin! The kitchen has a full fridge, Keurig, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric stovetop, & oven. The TV has cable, Netflix, & Prime. The California king bed in the main bedroom boasts another view of the river, & a plush carpet for cold mornings. The heated floors in the luxury bathroom let you stay cozy & enjoy double sinks, tile shower, private dressing room, magnifying mirrors, & full laundry. A circular floor plan allows both sleeping areas direct bathroom access. The backyard is Carmel River itself! Enjoy the lush terraced garden with plenty of outdoor seating on your way to the river bed. Grill up some burgers on the grill & take them down to your private sandy beach along the river, perfect for cooling down hot summer days. For a bit of adventure, take the rock path upriver about 5 minutes to take the plunge from the cliff (yes, it’s deep enough!) into the Bucket, a famous local swimming hole. If wine & food is more your speed, Carmel Valley Village less than a mile away is home to over two dozen local tasting rooms, & Michelin-star chefs working with the flavors of the area. And of course, the beautiful Califonia coast & Big Sur are about 25 minutes away. Whatever your thrill level, this escape will serve you well. Our price is inclusive of cleaning, local taxes, & all of our splendid amenities—no surprises! Guest access The full house is yours, including living space, bedroom, work space, secondary sleeping space, huge bathroom, outdoor parking, 3 decks, a grilling area, & private stretch of river with sandy beach for your exclusive use.
