Like you, we enjoy traveling and really prefer staying in a home rather than a hotel. Our commitment is "to delight our guests". We hire and pay exceptional cleaners. In addition, when we are not there to do it, we pay another person to walk through the home prior to your check in so that all the things on our list are checked. If something needs additional cleaning, or fixing, or resetting, its done before you get there. You can easily park 2 cars in the garage. We encourage guests to park inside. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable. Its a short mile to Wigwam golf course and Litchfield's, Red's Bar as well as Lazy Palms bar, Hermanos Mexican, Aveda spa. Down the street is a nail spa and hairdresser. Occasionally ( for about 10 mins in the morning and around 5 pm) you can see the F18 and F35 fighter jets return home from their day's training missions in the Southern desert. The noise won't disturb your enjoyment but they are fascinating to watch. Groceries are readily available if you turn North on Litchfield from Wigwam Blvd, you will get to Starbucks, Fry's etc. Turn right on LItchfield and 5 blocks south gets you to Safeway, Walmart Grocery, Walgren's, Burger King. Urgent care is in the same parking lot as Safeway. We rate ourselves 10/10 on responsiveness. Hopefully you will read our reviews on VRBO to verify. We cannot guarantee that nothing will go wrong during your stay. But we CAN guarantee that we will respond immediately and get a solution underway. We chose this location especially because of its proximity to things people like to do on vacation. The Wigwam resort and golf course is less than a mile up the street. There's a little playground next door which is rarely used. That means you have a place for kids to play...and there's no neighbor on that side. And, no neighbors peering in while you swim There is a "shopping corner" at N. Litchfield Road and Indian School. Walgrens, Walmart grocery, Safeway, Chevron, Dutch Bros coffee, Emergent care clinic, UPS. Further south on N Litchfield (at McDowell, you will find Target, Ross, Ulta Beauty, Starbucks, Ross, and more. The sports stadiums for NFL and NHL are 15 minute drive, with the Tanger Outlets beside them. Westgate is full of bars and restaurants. You are a 15 minute drive to hike the Whitetanks Mountains. 10 minutes gets you to Wildlife world. The airport is 25 minutes away. Chase Field for baseball and the Phoenix suns are downtown, just 20 minutes down the I-10. Golf at Wigwam, Palm Valley, Verrado, Estrella Mountain all within 5 to 25 minutes. WE are a dog friendly vacation home. In order to keep our home fresh and clean we have the following restrictions: 1.A pet fee of $100 will be charged after the reservation is made in order to ensure that furniture shampooing, extra vacuuming and cleaning are accounted for. 2. Dogs must have their nails trimmed before visiting so as not to scratch the floors 3. Dogs must not be left outside where barking can disturb neighbors. 4. Owners are responsible to pick up any doggy doo from front and back yards.
