The resort consists of 13 unique, quaint & simple cottages all built in the 1920's, a large 2,800 square foot main house as well as a separate 1 bedroom apartment all nestled on 5 private acres with 350' Duck Lake frontage and 600' on Mason Creek (a registered trout stream), Brookside is truly a piece of heaven on earth and you are only minutes from downtown Traverse City, Interlochen Arts Academy, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan and area attractions. Mason Creek Apartment is a freshly renovated, private, 2nd story unit overlooking the bridge and Mason Creek. It sleeps up to 4 guests in its 1 bedroom (queen bed) and full size sofa sleeper in the living room. The Mason Creek Apartment has a private bathroom with large shower. The kitchen has a gas range, an apartment size fridge/freezer, 12 cup coffee pot and Keurig single brew, microwave, dishes, drinkware, cutlery/utensils and basic pots/pans. The dining table seats 4 chairs.The living room has 2 swivel chairs and a sofa. Outside is a small balcony with a bistro table and chairs - perfect for sipping coffee or a glass of wine while bird watching. There is a large deck at the bottom of the stairs, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill with utensils. Guests provide their own charcoal and campfire wood. The apartment has heat and AC as well as cable TV and Wifi. Coin laundry is available in the recreation room. Amenities are shared amongst all guests of the resort.
