Kid Friendly Home w/Gourmet Kitchen near Capitola

Recently remodeled, this open, bright single-level home is perfect for your family vacation to Santa Cruz. Strategically located between the cities of Santa Cruz and Capitola and an easy 1.5 miles to the beach. Walk to Trader Joe's, Capitola Mall, shops, restaurants, banks, etc. Enjoy cooking in the gourmet kitchen, relax in the spacious living room and let the kids play with the chickens in the backyard. The space Our house is approximately 1775 s.f. and is located in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Our kids play in the street all the time, although we do have a fenced yard as well. When you enter our home, you enter into the spacious living room. Kick back on the L-shaped couch and watch a movie on the TV. There is a Roku (with Netflix, Amazon, etc), a BlueRay/DVD player and an extra HDMI cable. There is also a piano in the corner of the living room and we ask that you be respectful because it is an old family piece. Pass through the living room to the recently remodeled gourmet kitchen at the back of the house. If you like to cook or bake, this kitchen has it all! There is a Bosch cooktop and ovens. There is a Vitamix, InstaPot and KitchenAid mixer. There is a drawer full of spices and pots and dishes of all sizes. If you are looking for something specific, please ask, we probably have it. The dining table is setup with 6 chairs and the island seats 4. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom and walk-in closet. It also has a sliding glass door that leads to the back yard. The bed is very soft. The bedroom with the bunk-bed has a wonderful skylight in it. The bottom bunk is full size and the top is twin. At the end of the hallway past the bedrooms there is a laundry room with a SpeedQueen washer and Whirlpool dryer. Feel free to use the machines during your stay. In the backyard you will find a grill, a small table with two chairs and an umbrella, and a fire pit with 4 chairs. One final note: This is our permanent home, not a hotel or full-time vacation rental, and we have 4 children and not everything is perfect. It is our home, we love it, and we ask that you please be respectful and treat it as your own too. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and yard except the garage and shed. Owner's personal items are stored in the garage when they are not occupying the house. Other things to note Our personal items are stored in the garage and shed and will not be accessible to guests. Also, some cabinets in the kitchen will be locked.
