Being just across the street from St Joseph Bay, it is within walking distance to a public kayak ramp which opens up into the head of the Bay. There is a bike path across the street that extends the length of the peninsula. By the way, the unit is perfectly named because one can enjoy both breathtaking sunrises and sunsets!
