Go back in time with a mix of vintage and modern styles. This fully furnished mobile home has been partially renovated. Kitchen includes an oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, blender, waffle iron, … and is stocked with silverware, pots, pans, dishes, and coffee. The back bedroom has a double bed, dresser, ceiling fan, closet and shelves. A dresser, full length mirror, and single bed on the floor are in the very small 2nd bedroom. This vintage mobile home shows off the original siding and windows, the original green bathtub, and some of the original wood grain panelled walls. There is an abundance of space available for parking. There is no smoking inside this home or on either porch. Guests have access to this whole mobile home, porches and back yard. We live next door (not in the house in front of the mobile home) and are usually home so we are very accessible. You can also contact us anytime by phone, text or the Airbnb app. Located in a residential neighborhood on the outskirts of town, this mobile home is tucked away on the back of this property and surrounded by a large yard, seasonal flowers, and fruit yielding fig trees. There are plenty of squirrels to watch as they scamper through the yard, up the trees, and over the mobile home, while summer evenings bring a chorus of katydids. Occasionally the sounds of the neighboring chickens may even make you feel like you're on a farm. But you are only 2 blocks away from the local coffee shop, Common Grounds, and 8 blocks from a Dollar General. *Uptown Columbus, the GA border, and White Water Express is only 4 miles away. *11 miles from Fort Moore (Fort Benning), GA *20 miles from Opelika, AL *25 miles to Auburn, AL; *4.6 miles to Columbus Convention and Trade Center on Front Ave. *5.2 miles to Columbus Civic Center on 4th St. *Less than 4 miles to the longest urban whitewater rafting (has a zip lines across the river, kayaking, River Walk ...). *Lyft and Uber are available in Phenix City, Columbus, and Fort Benning. There is no public transportation available locally. *We are sometimes available to assist with transportation needs. Phenix City goes by the Eastern time zone (same as Columbus, GA, Fort Moore/Fort Benning, and Atlanta) even though we are in Alabama. We are not located in downtown but are minutes from downtown Phenix City. We do NOT charge any extra fees (no service or cleaning fees, etc.). Airbnb does charge their service fees that they receive. They also charge a state occupancy tax of about $1.-2./night that they send to the state. None of their fees go to us. No smoking inside or on either of the porches.
