Tiny House living...Can you do it? Come try it out in this 240 sq ft tiny house at the beach! The custom tiny house is just steps from the ocean on a semi-oceanfront lot. Enjoy the multi level outdoor deck with lush landscape or hang out upstairs with floor to ceiling windows and a perfect view of the Rodanthe Pier. The interior exhibits wide plank pine floors, cypress ship lap & custom hickory stairs with mahogany inlay and live cedar accents. The kitchen has concrete counters and a farm sink. This is a fully functional rental property. However-it may not be for you! It is 240 square feet which creates some unique living arrangements. The photos will help you with the visuals. Tiny Aloha has a strict two person maximum occupancy. Each occupant must be 25 years of age or up. As far as the interior detail: The toilet is semi-private; it does have a door but is located under the stairwell which is not fully enclosed. There is a private outdoor shower (hot/cold water) but NO indoor shower. The stairs are full sized but narrow and slightly steeper then you are probably used to with some head room issues if you are tall (over 6'2) you will have to duck going up the stairs and in the upstairs loft where the only full head room is in the center. The first floor kitchen/living area has 7' ceilings. The upstairs bedroom has a full sized queen bed and a small sitting area with natural cedar shelf. If the weather is cool we recommend opening the windows and enjoying the ocean breeze. If it is hot and humid there is a mini-split air conditioner upstairs. All windows have room darkening blinds and the front door has a privacy, pull down blind as well. The kitchen is fully functional. The refrigerator is 1/2 size and has a freezer (think twice as big as a college fridge but 1/2 the size of your fridge at home). There is no stove or oven for baking. Instead we have a gas grill, microwave, dual hot plate, toaster, toaster oven. There is a small coffee maker as well as a blender and adequate kitchen utensils. The kitchen sink is a farm style and is full sized with modern faucet. There is plenty of counter space and cabinets along with a live edge cedar upper shelf. There are hooks around to hang your towels, etc. Also on this floor is a small love seat and a pub style table with stools in case the weather is a bit off. Outside is the place to be. There is a multilevel deck with plenty of space for outdoor dining or simply lounging surrounded by the tropical foliage. The outdoor shower is tucked under the stairs with privacy louvers. There are lounge chairs on the deck as well as a table and chairs on the upper deck. This is a private, free standing residence with its own decks and storage area. You also have your own covered storage area, hose, etc. We are usually around and only a text or phone call away. If not, we may see you on the beach. It's Rodanthe so it is rarely crowded unless the surf is up or the fish are running. South Holiday is a nicely paved, wide street. You are located on the second lot back from the ocean. Please see photos for exact layout. You park in front of the house - there are 2 small gravel parking spots (2 cars will fit, but you have to park close) Simply show up. Everything you need to relax at the beach is waiting for you. There are two beach chairs, beach towels, bath towels and all your linens. There are toiletries to get you started as well as shampoo and conditioner. You have a parking spot and plenty of grass and landscaping to enjoy.
