The space THE SPACE This thoughtfully designed Venice Beach retreat blends privacy, indoor/outdoor living, Mid-Century architecture and eco-conscious comfort in one of Los Angeles’ most desirable coastal neighborhoods. Hidden behind 12-foot privacy fencing and remote-operated gates, it feels like a quintessential Venice artist’s retreat - creative, peaceful and full of character - just steps from the beach, Boardwalk and Abbot Kinney’s boutiques, galleries, cafés and restaurants. LIVING SPACES The three-level home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dedicated media room that doubles as a private office, creating a flexible layout ideal for extended stays, remote work and relaxed coastal living. The primary suite offers a California king four-poster bed and a spa-inspired bathroom with a freestanding soaking tub. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed. Upstairs, the media room serves as a dedicated office and can also be used as a reading room, writing or editing studio, creative workspace or private lounge. The lower level is designed for gathering and entertaining, with an open living room, TV lounge, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and direct access to the outdoor dining deck featuring a Weber BBQ and a convertible dining/ping-pong table. Throughout the home you’ll find blackout blinds, smart TVs, streaming services, generous storage and thoughtfully designed spaces that adapt naturally to work, relaxation and everyday living. INDOOR / OUTDOOR LIVING Enjoy approximately 2,000 square feet of private outdoor living across decks, rooftop decks, landscaped entertaining areas and a spectacular 1,000-square-foot rooftop lounge. Start your morning with coffee or yoga, spend the afternoon reading or sunbathing, then unwind with outdoor dining or sunset cocktails. The lower deck offers lounge seating, outdoor heaters, a Weber BBQ and a convertible ping-pong table. Surrounded by tall privacy fencing, the outdoor spaces feel secluded while remaining only moments from everything Venice Beach has to offer. NATURAL BEACH COMFORT Designed specifically for Venice’s mild coastal climate, the home features excellent insulation and a double-roof construction that naturally keeps interior temperatures comfortable while reducing energy consumption. Natural ocean breezes and cross-ventilation provide comfortable cooling throughout most of the year. For guests who prefer additional cooling, portable air-conditioning units are available upon request. We rarely use them ourselves, as the home was intentionally designed to stay comfortable while conserving energy and minimizing its environmental footprint. Guest access Enjoy complete privacy throughout the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home and its outdoor spaces, including the wraparound decks, garden areas and rooftop lounge. Tucked behind 12-foot privacy fencing and remote-operated gates, the property is just one block from the Venice Boardwalk and close to Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Designed for extended stays, remote work, creative projects and relaxed coastal living, the home includes a dedicated media/office room, spacious entertaining areas, a soaking tub and steam shower. Guests have private access to the home, decks, garden and rooftop lounge. The owner retains a separate private room that is not included in the rental and will remain locked during your stay. This secluded retreat offers privacy, comfort and immediate access to one of Los Angeles’ most creative and iconic beach neighborhoods. Other things to note PRODUCTIONS & FILMING Production, filming, photography or use of the property as a production office is prohibited without the owner’s prior written approval. Approved productions require a signed Production & Event Rental Agreement, a production insurance certificate naming the owner as additionally insured, and payment of the applicable location fee. Production location fees are $200 per hour or $2,000 for a full 12-hour production day, including load-in and load-out. PARTIES & EVENTS Large gatherings, parties, loud music and any activity that may disturb the neighbors are strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized party or event will result in a $3,000 fee, plus the cost of additional cleaning, damages and any other related expenses. Registration Details HSR24-000646
