Lounge in this MCM inspired A-Frame cabin surrounded by towering redwoods. Situated near the edge of Jackson State Forest yet conveniently located just 7 mins from downtown Fort Bragg CA and Noyo Harbor. A large south facing deck offers space to unwind with access to a handmade cedar hot tub and BBQ grill. Inside you’ll find a sunken living room, fireplace, large built-in sofa, 2 bedrooms, vinyl record player, and more. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, solo trip or small family. The space I purchased the land in 2017. A full year of designing/permitting had us breaking ground in the summer of 2018. The cabin was designed by AAA Architecture in San Francisco (thanks Randy!) The custom home was built by Walker Enterprises of Fort Bragg, CA (thanks, Chris and crew!) It was my intention to offer a tranquil, whimsical home with enticing nature at hand...a place where people gather, build connections, share memories and make quality time for one another. Also..fun...tons-o-fun! The entire home is for your private use. Guest access The main entrance is located in the front of the house. You’ll make your way up the slightly inclined front ramp to the front door. Other things to note The Hot Tub will be hovering in the mid to high 90’s when you arrive, some find this temp to be delightful. If you choose to raise the temp to 100-103 you’ll have to make a small fire in the self-contained hot tub stove (all necessary materials will be provided for you.) Fresh-cut wood is located directly next to the hot tub stove, newspaper and matches are located inside the house near the interior fireplace. A 20 min self-contained fire will raise the temp to your liking.
