The space Bienvenu Chez Moi is a small family-run short-term rental born from the desire of a single mother to provide for her son. The apartment sits atop a carefully preserved 137-year-old workforce cottage, one of Chicago's historical architecture styles (the living room windows are original). No need for the gym during your vacation! The 5 flights of stairs will provide ample cardio and lead you to a cozy apartment with unique and quirky angles. The apartment features a comfortable living room with a smart TV, a dedicated workspace nook, a bright and roomy kitchen with an island and stainless steel appliances, a washer/dryer, an updated bathroom, and a spacious bedroom with sufficient storage. **A few things to note** ** This is a vintage building, so the floors can be creaky.** **The water pressure may need a few minutes to stabilize as this is an old building and the apartment is at the very top.** We strive to provide a 5-star experience to our cherished guests with a balance of comfort, updated amenities, and affordability. The green cabinet on the kitchen island may not be used. Other things to note 1. The neighborhood is very walkable. 2. There are various spots for bike rental. 3. The bus stops are within walking distance of the building. 4. Parking on the street in front of the building requires a permit, but there are various free parking spots around the block.
