The home has a rustic feel with a dining room opening to the living room with a large stone fireplace and beautiful staircase leading to the private master suite (large closets, jetted tub, own private bath). There are 3 queen beds - one in the master suite, one in basement bedroom, and the other on the main floor level. The other main floor level has a bunk bed and is perfect for kids. The downstairs has a couch with sheets if needed, and a wide open playroom which opens to the back yard. There's also a full bath downstairs. The cabin is fully wired with wifi and cable and a dock for your iPad/iphone. Cellphone service is good with nearby cell towers so you're always in touch. The new heat pump heats and cools the space to your liking and the pine log walls and wide plank hardwoods give that perfect cozy cabin feel you've been dreaming of. There's a laundry room in the basement to keep things clean. the kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, cups, glasses, a single serve coffee maker, regular drip coffee maker, cooking pots/pans, cutting board, coffee mugs, and a wine opener. The dock in back is the perfect sunset setting and there's good fishin too! If you rent a boat for the weekend you'll find the Ritz only 10 min away by water and Oconee's own "cocktail cove" just 5 min away. Oconee is an amazing lake as the water never gets too low and its always clean and pristine for swimming off the dock or tubing/wakeboarding/skiing. There's nearby hiking and mountain biking. Local roads boast "share the road" signs so it is definitely biker friendly. Shopping is only 15 min away with a movie theater, restaurants, a Publix, and much more within an easy drive. Don't forget to check out the beautiful Oconee State Park - only a 30 min commute - for more hiking and sightseeing.
