Crooked Cabin - Irondale River -Geocaching Capital

Located in the woods, watch the river flow by from any window, the porch or walk the trails. The main room has a leather loveseat, rocking chair and propane fireplace. The loft has a queen mattress. BBQ with side burner and all kitchen appliances are there. There is an outhouse. No shower. Wifi available on the property. Kayaks are accessed at The Nest which is the 2nd cabin (that you can't see). Firewood available for free. Incredible night skies. Space and privacy. A soul restoring getaway. The space There's a couch in the screened in porch that overlooks the river. Large fire pit is in front of porch. There's cleared space around the cabin but then there are trails branching off. There is 3,000 feet of the Irondale River and 38 acres with winding trails, two oxbows, a beaver pond, open spaces, hidden beaches, all surrounded by a mature forest. Kayaks are accessed at the other cabin on the property. Guest access There is 3,000 feet of the Burnt/Irondale River and 38 acres for you to explore on the property. Your cabin is completely private in the woods and on the river. You're welcome to come to my outdoor back patio to jump onto the wifi. The Nest, is the second cabin on the property, and where you can launch a kayak or your own boat. Other things to note If you're not a Rogers or Fido customer, your cell service will be spotty on the property but you can always hop onto to my wifi closer to the house to send an email. Guests have been able to pick up service at the end of my driveway too. If you need to make contact, we will definitely make that happen. From mid October to mid-April , there will not be running water to the cabin but full water containers for drinking, cooking and washing are provided for you. All water provided is drinkable and comes from my well. There is limited hydro to the cabin so you can only use one appliance (kettle, toaster, microwave) at a time. The BBQ comes with a side burner. Children are welcomed here but the cabin is on a 15 foot cliff so I caution parents with toddlers that this might not be the most relaxing place for them if they're chasing kids all day.
