Well-behaved pets welcome. Extensive seasonal local guide upon booking. The space We live on the largest mountain range in Vermont without ski resorts or development. Quiet and beautiful. Less than a mile to the Worcester Mt trail head as well as from a secret swimming hole. Deer, porcupines, and chickadees make it feel like a real life nature show. Lots of seasonal activities. Ski five major mountains within an hour. Build a snowman. Play in the woods. Discover trails and pick wild blackberries in the backyard. Hike a mountain. Watch the dog get the zoomies enjoying all the new smells. Get cozy with candles, books, and blankets. Grill local meats from the farmers market. End the day with s'mores and stargazing or get a local beer while listening to live music in the neighboring town. Take a break from the noise of life and reset. We supply coffee by local Vermont roaster Carrier Coffee. The kitchen is stocked with basics like olive oil and spices. We have a classic weber charcoal grill and a fire pit. If you’re a cheese lover, let us know so we can leave cheese from award winning cheesemaker Jasper Hill. Guest access Cabin, private drive, front and large back yard area. Other things to note Access is by dirt road so 4wd and/or snow tires are highly recommended in the winter months. Shoes with good traction and/or yak tracks are great for winter as well. Late Oct to mid-Dec is hunting season so best to wear something bright (preferably orange) on you and your pet during this time. Also, best to keep dogs on leash during this time. April and May is typically mud season which means our roads get pretty muddy and bumpy so 4wd and a car with high clearance are recommended. Our internet is has been upgraded to fiber recently. It’s pretty reliable but cell calls occasionally drop. Our oven is small scale (24" compared to 29" standard) so it would likely not fit a large turkey.
