Cabin in Renfrew

PLEASE READ! This little rustic OFF GRID cabin is perfect for that quiet getaway in nature you have been needing. If you are a lover of the outdoors, this is a location for you. Fisherman and snowmobilers welcomed. No electricity or running water. We repeat, no electricity or running water! No shower, however a rustic outhouse is available - you are fancy camping. Water jugs and firewood for the wood stove and bon fire are provided. The space The cabin is one room with one queen size bed and a pullout couch. There is a harvest table for your meals or a good game of cards. The deck overlooks our farm field and the BBQ and propane stove top are available for cooking. Most enjoy the atmosphere of camp lights and the wood stove. All cooking utensils and kitchen utensils supplied Available outside is a fire pit and lawn chairs. The bathroom facilities are more on the “outdoorsy” side but we try to keep things as clean as possible for our guests. Outhouse is new this season. No shower yet but soon Guest access Cell reception is great at the cabin. Vehicles can sometimes park beside the cabin pending weather conditions. During spring, walk-ins are usually necessary due to a muddy field road - we do not want your vehicle to become victim to the farm field. During winter, 4 wheel drive vehicles are usually necessary to get through the snow. But no matter what season, the cabin is accessible and one way or another, will get you there. Other things to note No smoking in the cabin please. Pets are welcome, but please not on furniture. Bon fires are permitted when our township gives permission. Please know that our farm offers many forms of wildlife, including skunks, porcupines, deer and coyotes. There is a wood stove in the cabin as a main heat source. A BBQ and propane stove top are also available for your cooking needs. We suggest you bring a cooler for your food items. Bedding is provided with extras stored in a vintage trunk at the end of the bed. Towels and toiletries are all supplied for your use. An outdoor bathroom facility available if needed - it is not fancy by any means but it works. Most guests bring their own supply of water. We do have a water spout that will accommodate you if needed. Garbage cans and recycling bins provided.
