All the hot spots of the city are just north of this cozy 1 bdrm retreat. It's 10 min. to Southtown, (just a few blocks below downtown), where you'll find art communities and notable architectural gems as well as many eclectic bars and restaurants. The space This duplex is just right for one or two adults. It has everything you need away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Roku TV includes Amazon Prime! Just across the street is the Hot Wells of Bexar County park, which includes a walking park with interactive historic markers outlining the rich history of the former Hot Wells Hotel. There's access to the River Walk Reach extension from the park and a kayak drop just across the river. Please note that we get excellent reviews but we do have people take pause at the neighborhood. It is definitely a lower socioeconomic area in an older part of San Antonio. We suggest you look on maps in street view for the area on Koehler Ct and S. Presa. This is a no pet property. In order to accommodate guests who have allergies and because of the property specifics, this unit is not ideal to host guests bringing any type of pet. A service animal is not considered a pet. According to Airbnb policy - Guest cannot leave the animal alone at the listing without prior approval. Please note that this unit is priced affordably as a reflection of its quality and location. You will notice paint chips, flooring flaws and foundation shift as part of its historic, 85 year old charm! Note - replenishables such as toilet paper, shampoo and paper towels are only provided as starter items. They will not be replenished during your stay. Also, guests are expected to keep up with regular cleaning regimen such as cleaning bathrooms, floors and general upkeep. An additional cleaning fee will be assessed after check out if the unit is deemed excessively unclean. Guest access You will have access to the entire unit, which is part of a duplex. Feel free to enjoy the grounds and lighted picnic table on the property. Guests also have access to the free laundry room. You also have designated parking spaces right by your unit. Maximum 3 guests ($5/day more for third guest.) Other things to note This StayKind property has four Airbnb units. We give back to the community a portion of rental rates.
