The Lodge offers space for a private country getaway for up to 4 guests. Located on the unique Lishman property an hour from Toronto, it features an airy open concept design, a kitchenette, dining area with table and chairs, bathroom with composting toilet and a living room with wood stove (wood included). Enjoy the outdoors from a newly added screened in porch with BBQ, table and chairs. Featuring art from many Canadian artists, the theme is trappers lodge, and features one of a kind beaver fur covered couch and loveseat! Guest may enjoy the responsible use of the outdoor fire pit for memorable campfires. Natural beauty abounds, a perfect place to hike and explore. Please note there is no running water. There is a composting toilet and wash basin. An outdoor shower is available during summer months. Drinking and washing water provided in jugs. Guest access Hiking, snowshoeing and mountain biking. Lots of free parking. On request and depending on availability, guests may be offered a tour of the unique Lishman earth integrated underground home, featured on many television programs, YouTube videos and Canadian Geographic and Hello Magazines.
