Little House on the Prairie Path Cozy, gemütlich, hygge cottage in quiet unincorporated Wheaton, close to Lincoln Marsh, on the Prairie Path. International traveler decorated. This house offers extreme coziness. Very kid and pet friendly. Large back yard with fire pit overlooks pond with ducks, egrets, herons. Close to Central DuPage Hospital, Wheaton College, Metra train to Chicago. Perfect for family gatherings. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking real meals! The space International traveler decorated family home in warm ambiance with lots of sunlight, wood furniture, hardwood floor, woodburning stove, and surprisingly "larger on the inside than the outside" thanks to creative architectural choices. On a peaceful, quiet street, very safe neighborhood. Fires permitted in the backyard fire pit. Please note that the third bedroom with one single bed which is pictured in the photographs is located in an alcove on the second floor. It is an enclosed space but it does not have a door. The second "living room" is actually the upstairs loft area. It is the room that has the three cubby holes, with a total of 4 twin beds.These cubby holes are best suited for children or smaller adults as they are built into the eaves of the house. You can see this on the photographs. We raised 10 children in our house. And we understand the stress of traveling with a large family. If you are traveling with children and need an accommodation on the number of sleeping spaces, please let me know. Please note: It is important that you know that this listing is for a family home. We make every effort to make it spic and span and cozy for our guests, but it is not a hotel experience. If you are looking for a hotel experience, please do not book our house. This rental is for the entire house, but please note that we may be accessing the basement through an exterior door in order to add salt to the water softener. Guest access No access to basement or garage. Other things to note Please be reminded as we have listed in our amenities that we have no television.Water is softened, so drinking water comes through a triple reverse-osmosis filter at kitchen drinking-faucet. Cubby holes are best suited for children or shorter adults. Extra large double-door refrigerator with freezer in kitchen. Our kitchen is well equipped for cooking real meals. I have left oil, spices and some kitchen basics which you are welcome to use as you see fit.
