We are surrounded by 600 acres of protected woodlands - The Putney Woods - with trails for hiking and biking right outside your door. The picturesque town of Langley, WA - 10 minutes away by car - hosts galleries, antique shops, restaurants, grocery store, post office, library, and a classic 250-seat movie theatre dating to the 1930's. The Guest Cabin at the farm is a bright, beautifully appointed, high-end residence set by the forest on the edge of our 35 acre property. You are tucked away with the forest behind you, with an expansive view in front. Cozy sitting area on the front porch to enjoy the beauty. It's the perfect place to stay as a home base to explore everything Whidbey has to offer, or as a place to hunker down for work and life - only one hour from Seattle. We're surrounded by 600 acres of pristine NW forest with hiking and biking trails, only 10 minutes into Langley, and access to the water's of Puget Sound in all directions. Whidbey is a magical place, and the Guest Cabin provides everything you need to enjoy it. The Cabin Built in 2016 with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship, the place comes: Fully furnished; large bright kitchen with gas range, full size refrigerator, cooking utensils, pots & pans, plates, glasses and cutlery; high-end bathroom; large queen bedroom with expansive work-space and desk; outdoor shower; fireplace; outdoor fire pit; linen's and towels. We provide complimentary drip coffee and tea's, oils and spices, and some firewood to get you started. Dependable high-speed internet and wifi provided. Clean sheets and towels provided every 2 weeks. Laundry service is available. The Cabin and it's surroundings are exquisite - very quiet and nourishing. You are living in the best of nature, with endless birds, deer, rabbits, and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Parking and Entry You'll have your own parking at the Cabin - outside or in the garage. Entry is private with a lock-box for independent check-in. You are welcome to visit the pond and northern area's of the main meadow, the majority of the surrounding forests, and all the area's surrounding the Guest Cabin. I'll be nearby during your stay to answer any questions and provide anything that you might be needing. I can be reached by text, cell, or if needed you can come over and knock on the door. The Farm is located 10 minutes outside of Langley, on a long private road. There is no public transportation from this location, so you will need a car or a bike. If you're a biker, there are miles of biking (and hiking) trails literally just outside your door. The farm is my home, and I live across the meadow in the main house. I have recently purchased the property and will be freshly moved in. The pictures on this listing are from the recent marketing of the property for sale. There will be some minor differences to what is in the space in terms of some of the furniture, artwork, details, but it will be of equal or higher quality and style.
