The only shared areas are the driveway (one guaranteed off-street parking space) and the backyard garden, which is shared with a separate two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Guest access Upon arrival guests have exclusive use to the upstairs apartment within a historic Charleston single house. ONE (1) off-street driveway parking space is reserved for your use. The tandem (stacked) driveway is shared between the upstairs and downstairs apartments, so parking coordination with another group MAY be required if both units are reserved and both groups need parking. The backyard garden (shared with the downstairs apartment) is available for enjoying as well! Other things to note Please confirm availability of the pack n play prior to arrival. Three of the four bedrooms have room darkening curtains. Please Note: Due to our vibrant urban downtown location, the eclectic mix of neighborhood residents, and the historic charm of the home (with its thinner walls and original windows), guests may occasionally notice a few city sounds or quirks — like creaks, footsteps, or nearby activity from neighbors, street traffic, or emergency vehicles. We’ve done our best to make the home as comfortable as possible, including providing white noise machines for restful sleep. At the moment, there’s a city improvement project taking place in the neighborhood, which may bring some daytime construction activity. While we’re not connected to the project, it’s typically limited to regular business hours, and evenings are peaceful and quiet. We’ve thoughtfully adjusted our pricing to reflect this and ensure great value for our guests. Parking: The driveway is shared with the downstairs unit. When both units are rented, one off-street parking spot is guaranteed per unit, with the driveway able to accommodate up to two standard-sized vehicles. Please note, sharing the driveway requires some flexibility, especially if both units are occupied. For guests with larger vehicles, the driveway has height limitations, and larger campers, trailers, or high-profile vehicles may have difficulty fitting. We recommend a standard-sized vehicle for the best fit. Security: For your safety and the protection of the property, Ring cameras are mounted on the exterior of the building. These cameras are active only in outdoor areas and are in place for security purposes. Short-Term Rental Registration: This property is registered with the City of Charleston under Short-Term Rental Permit OP2025-06440
