Our property has a rich history, having been a bar and brothel in the late 1800s, then a travelers’ hotel in the mid-1950s. Now, thanks to platforms like Airbnb, the Capitol Hotel Building is once again welcoming travelers. We’ve transformed the original hotel rooms into spacious vacation suites that are perfect for visiting the National Parks or a weekend getaway. Our vacation suite is located in the heart of historic Buffalo, ensuring that you have everything you need for a memorable stay. The space Our City-approved seasonal, pet-free vacation rental property is situated within the converted Historic Capitol Hotel Building, located on Main Street in the heart of Buffalo, Wyoming’s downtown historic district. The Coyote Suite, originally four of the hotel’s original rooms, is the most luminous suite, south-facing, and situated toward the rear of the building. Accessible only by stairs, this suite is situated on the second floor of the historic building and lacks an elevator. The King-sized one-bedroom suite features central air conditioning, two cable televisions, a full-size kitchen, coffee maker, tea kettle, air fryer, and toaster. It is equipped with essential amenities for both short-term and long-term stays, including a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, ironing board, and laundry facilities. Despite its warped walls and slanted floors, the building has undergone restoration efforts, incorporating modern conveniences such as running water, electricity, heating, and air conditioning. Guests can stroll along the floors that were trodden by cowboys over a century ago and explore the “secret back staircase” that provided access to the second-floor brothel for “ladies of the night.” The property’s prime location offers unparalleled convenience. As an individual with severe allergies, the presence of animals on our property, especially during and after your stay, poses a significant health risk to me. Should any individual in your party be discovered with an animal on our property grounds, an additional $150.00 cleaning fee will be imposed. Consequently, you will be required to vacate the building immediately, forfeiting any potential refund.
