Outstanding location at 2nd and East Capitol St. 1 block to Capitol. Walk to National Mall, countless restaurants, museums, Union Station (metro). Professionally managed. Small 1 bedroom apartment on terrace level. Great space. Separate entrance to outdoor area. Ask about parking options PRIOR to booking please. The space This apartment is on the quiet back side of the building (away from the street). It is a 'terrace level apartment', meaning you walk down several steps to get to the entrance. This is a small 1 bedroom. It has a queen size bed in the bedroom area and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The bedroom door is a louvered door. You can see photos of the actual backyard and entrance areas. Combo washer/dryer in apartment. Full size laundry room for the building down the hall. YouTube TV with 80 channels including HBO Max included for free plus smart TV with built in Netflix and Amazon Prime for use with your accounts. This building has electronic locks so check-in is easy. Like many buildings of this era in DC the building heat/air conditioning system that either heats or cools, depending on time of year. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE IS THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. PLEASE INQUIRE SO WE CAN DISCUSS PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST. Fall and winter are very high demand months, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bring people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid. And of course it's a presidential election year. Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months. We will do less, but the rates do go up. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available in very late June or July 1. If the property you inquired about seems to have an availability date that may not match up then you can always check HERE see all properties and their available dates. Our average booking is around four to six months. We are primarily a longer term lodging provider. We can do shorter, but in the furnished housing business rates go up for shorter stays. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions. We are available to answer questions and we provide a detailed Welcome Letter. Apartment has electronic entry so late check in is no problem. Outstanding highly sought after 'close in' Capitol Hill. The area within a few blocks of the Capitol is generally the most highly sought after. Charming historic area. Tree-lined streets and brick sidewalks are common here. Often described as a 'small town within the big city'. Outstanding restaurants and nightspots. Geographic center of DC, so this is a great spot for getting around the entire region. Five blocks to Capitol South metro (orange and blue) and Union Station metro (red line). Uber and Lyft are very easy to get here. Capital Bikeshare is two blocks away. DC Circulator (tourist bus, basically) comes within a block or two. Uber to anywhere in central DC is very easy from this location. Perfect place to explore DC from.
