JUST HAD an EMERGENCY cancellation for Crusin the Coast October 1-8❣️ The cottage is very intimate, relaxing and many guests find this their new vacation home. The location is perfect, "downtown across the street" which makes it close to everything, yet more private, and quieter. Camellia is suitable for many needs and has a special appeal for couples needing to get away, or celebrate a special occasion. If you’re in need of some down time this is the place to renew. Camellia Cottage began its humble life as a tin roofed two story garage. It has been redesigned for comfort with denim slip covered furniture, a fully stocked kitchen, boutique bathroom and a loft style bedroom up the spiral staircase. The king bed with a memory foam mattress is a guest favorite. The cottage is small and only suited for a maximum of 3 adults and that will require a 3 night stay. I cannot accept young children due to the spiral staircase. There’s a good selection of kitchenware, cookware, some condiments, a gas stove and full size refrigerator. Enjoy the seasonal herb garden and outdoor grill while having a beverage on the patio. A smart TV offers you endless channels including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Live, ESPN, local channels, and more. There is also a large DVD library. I provide beach chairs and a cooler to take to the beach and watch the sunrise or sunset. And, lets talk about dogs... I travel with mine too! So, I keep bowls, a blanket, towels, furniture covers and a pet gate for the stairwell. I also have a fenced in yard with a patio so you can sit outside with your dog. However, I need to know in advance if you plan to bring your pet, as there are limits and the fee will be added into your reservation. The average pet fee is $50, and that fee goes to a local shelter or rescue groups. About cats, I have em and love em but do not allow them due to guests allergies. There is free parking, a patio with furniture and an outdoor grill. I want this to be a good experience for all of my guests, so I'm available as little or as much as you need. Before I began listing on Airbnb, I had the pleasure of having this rental cottage for years ( with another listing) and have earned over 100 five star reviews. I hope this gives assurance that my guests are enjoying Camellia Cottage, and return frequently for another stay. I keep brochures and a local map, and will gladly offer suggestions... I live on a picturesque street on the bayou! We are neighborly, and believe that we live on one of the very best streets in OceanSprings. Our street also dead ends into a old cemetery that's a favorite with historians and photographers. Camellia Cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and is not rented as a party house or to guests under 25. Some of my guests prefer the short walk to downtown, and others choose not to cross Bienville Blvd., and drive across, park and walk around Government & Washington. I am in the latter, especially when I have my dog, Rudy Roo with me. Speaking of...this is a dog friendly town and dogs are welcomed at most places with a patio....also at the beach which is less than a mile away. I keep dog bowls, towels and a baby gate for the stairs. There are golf cart, bicycles and kayak rentals nearby. If you are a golfer there are several public greens for you. There is a pet fee, usually $50 and I ask that you please indicate in your inquiry if you would like to bring your dog. My approval depends on size and how many. All pet fees are donated to our local shelter or to rescue groups. There is now a fenced in yard and you can sit on the patio with your pup. I like to remind my guests in advance this is strictly non smoking inside or anywhere on the grounds. The minimum age for renting is 25. I do not allow candles.
