Remote & Rustic 1970s comfortable 1 story 2 master suites & great rm. Vaulted ceilings indoor whirlpool tub & outdoor hot tub. 24/7 guard gate . 15 mins fr Pigeon Forge, 25 minutes from national park 20 mins to Gatlinburg. Common pet area, Frisbee golf, walking trails & playground Paved Roads, gravel drive & level parking. 4 wheel NOT needed except during winter months. Note: we don’t provide propane 4 grill. Max 4 ppl 2 pets. One time $50 pet fee per pet. The space VERY private. flat screen tv's w/ DirectTV sports package & DVD players - universal remotes. pots n pans, knife block, drip coffee maker, filled spice rack. Lots of glass for viewing inside/out of back deck. Wonderful hot tub perched on the back deck (new deck boards not yet painted). Frequent wildlife: turkey's, bears, geese, deer, raccoons etc. NOTE: our driveway while common for mountain driving, is considered steep by others. 4 wheel drive NOT needed except for ice and snow. Home is NOT 5 star luxury but IS comfortable & clean. We are in the middle of the woods and have the expected critters with it. The back deck and included outdoor dining are exposed to weather 24/7 and may have leaves or debris on them. Please bring the table and chair covers inside (can put in the closet) while you are using them. You don't need to replace them before you leave. Guest access Shagbark resort has a community pool (open seasonally) a basketball court and tennis courts. There are picnic tables, walking trails, Frisbee golf, a dog park, corn hole and a children's playground within the resort Other things to note Our driveway is very steep in one section. We are directly off a gravel road and if you are unused to mountain driving you may find the turn into the driveway challenging. We have easily driven small and very large non-4 wheel drives on these roads/driveways except in ice and snow. No open fires are allowed within Shagbark. --While we do have a BBQ grill available and a propane tank guests will NEED TO PURCHASE PROPANE TO USE THE GRILL. Our starter pack includes 2 rolls of toilet tissue in each bath, 2 trash bags for each trash can, 2 pods of dishwasher soap, scrub pad, laundry soap, and bath and hand soap at each sink, tub/shower. There is also 2 small packs of coffee and two single-use sugar creamer packs. PLEASE CHECK YOUR AIR BNB MESSAGES and the guest resource section FOR SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS AND DOOR CODE REPAIRS & SERVICE CALLS: We take pride in maintaining our cabin & perform regular maintenance to keep everything in good working order. It is impossible, however, to guarantee that all appliances, hot tub, fireplaces, etc., will be in working order 100% of the time. We will, however, make every effort to correct any problem you encounter during your stay as soon as possible. Non-emergency maintenance issues will be handled during normal business hours. While we will attempt to correct all issues as quickly as possible, no refunds will be made for mechanical failures of hot tub, appliances/electronics, or interruption/loss of utilities (including satellite TV), etc. Authorized repairmen have the right to enter the property to accomplish needed repairs even if the service call was made prior to your arrival. Thanks in advance for your understanding. Our nominal pet fee is to cover additional normal wear and tear pets may cause. Please pick up after your pet, vacuum pet hair. clean up "accidents". Failure to do may result in an additional cleaning charge of $10-$50 from your security deposit
