This is a townhouse-style home in Bethany Beach, walking distance from the beach/downtown Bethany (just under a mile). The immediate vicinity is a nice area with many restaurants and other shops/stores. It is set in a private, cozy 8-unit condo development with friendly neighbors and free parking. **Please avoid leaving open single dates when booking during peak season. (i.e. if a 4-night block is available, all 4 nights must be rented, not 3). We have a professional cleaning service who do a great job based on guest feedback. The parking lot is directly off Rte 26. We actively work to keep the house in good condition, with consistent upgrades to keep the guest experience high. Our neighbors are very friendly! You can stay closer to the beach, but it can cost twice as much- this place is the best of both worlds. - WiFi - Kitchen is fully equipped (drip-style coffee maker) - Beach Equipment: chairs (4+), toys, umbrella, small cart - Some board games, puzzles, books, kids toys - Infant swing chair; dining table booster seat; portable pack'n play baby crib. We ask guests to please take care of things and kindly replace anything if lost or broken while in use, or at least notify us so we can address for the next guests. NO PETS, of any type or size, no exceptions (including service & hypo-allergenic animals). Non-compliance = eviction with no refund and additional cleaning/inconvenience fees. Please think twice before you before you book, there are plenty of pet-friendly options out there. NO SMOKING - same policy as pets. AGE 28+: Renters must be at least 28 years of age. Sorry no "Beach Week" / high school / college / groups. Recent upgrades include....pretty much the entire house! Too many to list. There are 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom suite takes up the entire 2nd level, has a private bathroom, new giant flatscreen, small sitting area, opens onto 2nd level deck overlooking courtyard, shaded by an oak tree. Master has ample floor space and spare air mattress if needed. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor. One has a queen bed & flatscreen; Other BR has a bunk (full size on bottom / single on top); each has sliding glass door to back deckway leading to grill area and private outdoor shower. Shared 1st floor bathroom is newly remodled. Total bed capacity = 8 persons. Can accommodate a couple more using air mattress (provided) and/or couch (queen pullout/sleeper). The first floor has living room with TV (cable, streaming, & DVD player), kitchen, counter w/ breakfast bar (2 stools), dining area/table, washer/dryer. There is an outdoor shower and charcoal grill (charcoal not provided). There are several convenient stores/shops in the immediate area (~200 yards) - Grotto's Pizza (w/ adjacent Sports Bar), Wawa, Rita's (ice cream), liquor store, Bethany Diner, Bike/outdoor store, manicure place, chinese takeout, Di Febo's Italian Restaurant, DiFebo's Market Store, and "Off the Hook" (#1 rated restaurant in BB). There's a nice nature center/trail & small playground across street. There is a trolley stop 100 yards away, a great way to get to/from the beach or downtown Bethany. Parking pass is included for designated "residential pass" parking areas for free beach area parking (please remember to replace upon checkout). No parking pass needed on premesis. Renters must be at least 28 years of age. Sorry no "Beach Week" high school / college groups. NO PETS/ANIMALS, NO SMOKING - NO EXCEPTIONS. Non-compliance will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Sorry, no pets, smoking, or underage groups at any time. We make every attempt to supply paper products and soaps/detergents for all guests to help until you're able to get to the store. Monthly stays do not include electric bill (to be paid separately at end of month). Other utilities (cable, internet, water/sewage, etc) are included in the base rate. Guests have the entire house to themselves, and access to a shared courtyard. We are available via email, cell, or text, before/during/after your stay to help make your vacation all that it can be. We are in a small, quiet 8-unit townhome development, 4 units per side separated by a central courtyard. Our neighbors are very nice when they are around, most do not rent their place out. It is very safe and relaxing. We are very close to a trolley stop (to beach & downtown); beach is about a 12 minute walk (just under a mile). We have a parking pass for beach/downtown area parking in designated areas. No parking pass needed on premesis (no parking pass needed anywhere in the offseason between Sept 15-May 15).
