It makes the perfect location to embark upon outdoor adventures of all kinds. Cycling, hiking, running, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and even snowmobiling are all allowed uses of the trail. If venturing out is not your thing, simply relax by our own pond that is home to turtles, muskrats, beavers and birds too numerous to list. If you are really quiet you might even spy a great blue heron hunting in the stream. Guest access In addition to our well-appointed guest rooms, you will have access to our stunning sun room looking out to the wetlands behind the house. Access to a large flat screen television and gas burning fireplace are great places to snuggle up for the evening. A sitting room adjacent the dining room is also available to you for evening chats, reading or simply enjoying some peaceful quiet time. Other things to note Your hosts Trevor and Janet are both active lifestyle enthusiasts with a penchant for giving back. Trevor has cycled across the country 4.5 times raising funds and awareness to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their family affected by cancer. Along the way, he and his family have gathered a great many tales to tell. Besides being Trevor's biggest fan and supporter, Janet has enjoyed running and cycling for most of her life. While working in the city has limited her ability of late, she is always finding ways to stay fit. Her background in nutrition has proven invaluable to keeping the family healthy and fit.
