Located deep in the heart of the historic villages of Dauphin Island, Al. Built in the mid forties before there was any electricity on the island. Quiet, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, birding. Bike trails. The closest public beach is less than a mile. I have walked it many times. It's a very nice walk along the bike trail and just past the Little Red School you'll find the entrance to the beach. Pleasure boat parking space available along the east side of the home. The space We have a large covered front porch with two swings to relax in while having your early morning coffee. Or you may choose to sit on the little covered back porch while you have your morning coffee and listen to the birds singing. Our whole island is considered to be a bird sanctuary. The house sits in the middle of three lots giving lots of room for children to run and play. Guest access All rooms in this house is available for your use plus the use of all the yard.
