Entering the family room area, there is ample seating, a wood burning fireplace and occasional chairs. The dining area, just off the kitchen has outdoor access. Sit on the covered porch, grill on the propane BBQ grill.  Step down to the waters edge, where you can fish from the shore line. Back inside the home you have a newly updated kitchen with granite counters, new appliances including a gas range/oven, fridge and freezer combo, toaster oven and microwave. There are windows along one wall to provide natural light and an amazing view of the lake. The master, located downstairs, has a king bed and a door leading out to the covered porch. There is a full bath and a new LG washer/dryer combo unit. There is also an additional full bath in the downstairs hallway.  Head upstairs where you will find the two other bedrooms in the cabin. The first, having two entrances has two twin beds and at the end of the walkway is the last bedroom with a twin size bed. While having newer furnishings, linens and decor, new hardware, appliances and fixtures, the owners left the original charm of the 1940's built Maltby cabin. Rustic, yet elegant with cottage charm this cabin is the epitome of what Big Bear was all about. This is the perfect place to start a family tradition. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.   Head inside at 10:00 p.m. Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Take trash to dumpster locations Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. A second offense is $1000 per violation.   Eviction Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund.
