Relish the secluded calm of Meadow's Edge at Two Chairs Farm. Gentle hiking on 40 acres of wooded/meadow/hay fields. Lovely sunsets in a peaceful environment. Everything you need to camp is provided..., simply pack along your clothing, food, beverages, cooler and big spray. Bring your acoustic instrument, sketchbook/watercolors, camera, bird book and enjoy. The drive to the campsite is around the hay field so low clearance cars will find it difficult driving, it's about a 1/4 mile walk to Meadow's Edge. We ask that you are respectful of our local community; many are supported by the land so be conscious of slow tractors and farming equipment on the road and land boundaries when out and about. You may choose to bring your groceries with you and stay on the farm, or a 15 minute drive to either 20-Mile Organics in Barronett (Website hidden by Airbnb) or Al's in Shell Lake, Spooner is 20 minutes and has an Economart and The Vitamin Source, an organic grocer and supplement store. There are a few fun restaurants for take out in and around Spooner/Cumberland/Shell Lake. Timberland Ski area, 30km of cross country ski trails open to hiking and horses in summer/fall, is a 10 minute drive away as is The Ice Age Trail. The Clam River for trout fishing runs within 2 miles of us with a handful of public access sites to choose between. Shell Lake has a clean, sandy public swimming beach with kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board rental available at Matt's Water Rental (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) There are distillers, brewers, roasters and a winery within a 30 minute drive, as well as many antique and "elegant junk" sales. Shell Lake Clinic and Hospital is a 17 minute drive from the farm. There is shelter at our house in case of tornado. Provided: Linens, two bed pillows, blankets, towels, wash clothes, hand towel, kitchen towel, table setting for four, 4 cloth napkins, towel/rag, cast iron fry pan, cook set (three sauce pans), mixing bowl, ladle, oil, salt/pepper, dish soap, dish pan, scrubby, battery operated lantern, coffee pot and coffee, espresso maker with espresso ground coffee, tea, wine cork, bottle opener, wine goblets, flashlights, 3 solar candles, 2 folding chairs, propane heater, propane cookstove, popcorn popper and popcorn (I pop the corn without oil for super easy clean up). Meadows and woods 2 hours northeast of Minneapolis, 90 minutes south of Duluth or north of Eau Claire. tentrr.. This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf. Tentrr Customer Support can be reached at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Bring your own food/cooler, clothes and big ...,everything else you need to glamp is provided: two burner propane camp stove (propane included), small cast iron skillet, soup pan, ladle, large spoon, skillet, kettle, espresso maker, service for four, cups, two wine goblets, wine opener, popcorn maker, marshmallow/hotdog roasting skewers, dish soap, cloth, towel, paper towels, cloth napkin, can opener.
