The space There are 3 bedrooms, two doubles and one with bunk beds, and a family bathroom with shower and bath on the upper floor. Downstairs you'll find an open plan kitchen and family dining area, comfortable couches and a wood burner for those cosy mountain evenings. There is a separate toilet just off the entrance hall, next to the ski boot storage area. Skis can be stored in a separate ski room accessed form the outside. You can ski right back to the chalet in winter, and the Corbeau piste is only a short 80m walk away. From where you join the piste, it's a quick ski down to the Corbeau chairlift which links to the 650km Portes du Soleil ski area, including Chatel, Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets. The chalet was purchased by the current owner a few years ago, and is being renovated bit by bit. As such the floors upstairs can be a little creaky, and the kitchen, while complete with everything you need, is without dishwasher. It's position up above the village means that snow chains are obligatory in winter to get up the steep road to access the chalet. This is a great option for a family holiday or a getaway with friends, the views alone make the access worthwhile, while those with children will appreciate the calm, as well as the large terrace perfect for igloo and snowman building!
