There are several bars and cafés nearby the building. Most shops, shopping centres and supermarkets are a five to ten-minute walk away. This flat is situated twenty minutes away from the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...) GETTING AROUND We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance.
