Summary: Break away from the chaos of everyday life and have a relaxing getaway on your own private sandy beach. At Island View at Kiwanis Beach you have your own inlet where you can fish, swim, canoe or kayak. Listen to the loons warn their young when the eagle flies overhead. Enjoy beautiful sunrises over the lake. Local amenities include hiking and walking trails, farmers markets, local shops and restaurants. If you chose to explore, the White Mountains and North Conway Outlet Stores are a 45 minute drive and the ocean; Casco Bay, Old Orchard Beach and Saco Bay are 30 minutes away. The Space: Enjoy unforgettable sunrises and sunsets at your own private sandy beach on 448 acres of Watchic Lake. Perfect for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, loon watching, and pristine swimming! Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Other Things to Note: Please do not dig holes on the beach, if you do, please fill them in! (This is a tripping hazard for guests). Do not feed the ducks or other wildlife. Do not throw rocks. Smoking only in designated smoking area. NOT IN TENT, CLEANING FEE WILL BE CHARGED No glass containers in beach area. Quiet time begins at 10PM. Please remove your trash daily (dumpster located in parking lot). FEE WILL BE CHARGED IF NOT REMOVED Please keep food secure (coolers and/or cars) in case of wildlife (skunks, racoons, bears, etc. We have them all!). Please do not remove any Coleman gear from site, there will be a FEE CHARGED for missing items. Day visitors are allowed from 10am to 7pm (not exceeding 4 visitors). Visitor fee $5. per person Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf. Tentrr Customer Support can be reached at (888) 798-9093 or at hello@tentrr.com.
