This light filled space (with cathedral ceilings and exposed century old beams) harmoniously balances the old and new. Mid century furniture, an old butcher’s block and the modern bathroom seamlessly co-exist - bringing a little bit of SOHO to the county. Comfortable galley kitchen stocked with the necessary conveniences (two drawer refrigerator, countertop convention toaster/oven, large 4 burner gas stove top and deep stainless sink). Outside the original barns, bluestone patios, wetlands and a nearby stream give the outdoor space an instant country feel. A home that offers the best of old and new in a space that is stylish and comfortable for up to 4 guests. Pet fee is $40 per pet per day. No parties or events allowed. No outside noise after 10 pm. These businesses include the United States Post Office for area code 12136, the Old Chatham Country Store (which includes a cafe/restaurant), and Jackson's Old Chatham House (tavern and restaurant). The Old Chatham Sheepherding Company is also located in Old Chatham. Close by, the village of Chatham, NY is filled with independently-owned, one-of-a-kind retail stores, restaurants and galleries. We have ample on-site off-st parking. We are located in the beautiful, historic Columbia County and close to Hudson NY, Chatham NY, Taconic State Parkway and the Berkshires.
