The guests will be staying on the side that is a single story home w/ 3 beds, 2 baths. You will climb a staircase to get to the patio and front entrance to the rental. The bottom of the staircase is located where the designated parking for the guests is. The main house is the 2 story side of the units, this home is occupied by the co-hosts and their family. The two units share a wall and the patios are connected but sectioned off by fencing and private gates. Accessibility is available, please let us know if we need to make accommodations. Animals do live here: We have one horse named Rose down in the pasture. She is not ridable, but does love company and happy to except carrots or apples. Next to the horse pasture is a pig enclosure where our pot belly pigs Raider, Opal and Esme live. They are super friendly and love people. Treats are always welcome as well. Suka is our ranch dog, although she is the sweetest Husky you may have ever met, we keep her separated from the guests. She tends to be very vocal ( huskies like to talk) just wants to say Hello, but we want your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Finally, our outside cat Mari (whom is a male) you might find roaming around from time to time. He is always on the clock for keeping down the critter population. From our charming home nestled in infinite nature you can gaze on the stunning endless views of the valley and spectacular sunsets. Kids can enjoy outdoor adventures and have plenty of space to roam play and explore. You can hop in the car for a short drive to the endless amount of activities the area has to offer. Adults can visit the local wineries and vineyards for wine tasting, lounging and relaxing or hit the golf course for a few rounds! There are also many activities and exciting places to visit with the whole family like the various lakes for swimming, fishing, boating, water sports. You can go horseback riding, take an archery lesson or, hit the tennis or basketball courts. If you are feeling adventurous you can explore one of the many hiking or bike trails or some of the historical landmarks like the Black Chasm Cavern or the spooky Moaning Caverns adventure park with zip lines and claiming walls or even the Amador Central Rail Road ride!! If want to take a little trip back in time you can visit some of the many museums and historical buildings including the 1897 rail town, the Knight Foundry, the replica of Mark Twain’s cabin or take a tour of the Kennedy gold mines and much more!!! We do now have Uber and Lyft available in Calaveras County. Using your personal vehicle would be the most reliable and easiest way to get around. The house is within walking distance to a few local businesses. The hot tub is available for an additional deposit and fee depending on the length of your stay.
