Casita Blanca is a tiny bungalow with private entrance located in a 1880's Hacienda compound. Tucked away inside the adobe walls, this cute casita has a new bathroom, kitchenette with microwave, coffee & tea station, sink, table & 2 chairs. Bedroom & living space are combined and include a comfy king bed, 2 side chairs & ottomans. *No TV, no stove* shared outdoor space includes a covered porch, patio, yard, pool and hot tub area (heated upon request) Because of the steps up to and the narrow door to this suite, the space is not wheelchair accessible. Also, while we do not have TV, you can access movies and shows on your laptop through our your own account while you are with us! Weekly housekeeping fees of $25 are required for long-term stays to maintain a clean and comfortable space. The suite is also appointed with comfy robes and slippers. Our yard is newly restored and guests are welcome for lounging. Our covered porch is also available to our guests. In 2023, we built a pool and hot tub area that is accessible to our guests as well (heated upon request). The owners live on the property and we hope to greet all our guests when it is possible. Self check-in during late-night arrivals is fully acceptable. Alameda-Depot neighborhood is centrally located and within walking distance to downtown, parks, restaurants, performance theaters, yoga, post office, museums, and farmer's market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We recommend MEW+Company downtown for private arts/crafts classes and shopping; we recommend Willow+Blaine for delicious downtown meals, within walking distance. Ruby Sun is a spa one block over that we really enjoy walking to for treatments. Book ahead and ask for a first-time discount. Las Cruces does have Uber and cabs. Most amenities are within walking distance to the Hacienda. To protect the integrity of this historic compound, we have refrained from renovations and have embraced the original nature of the architecture. If you are looking for a pristine and more modern environment, the charm of this space may not be for you. If you would like to step into an authentic southwest experience, this is the place for you!
