Our award-winning, clean, peaceful home is a very special option for a family vacation this summer. We have started accepting reservations for summer 2020. Squam Lake is at its finest in July and August. After your day of playing on the lake, relax in the hot tub, enjoy making dinner in our modern kitchen, and eat dinner on the deck overlooking the lake. Please note that the summer rental week is Friday to Friday. The space Designed by architect Tom Murdough and completed in 2017, our home received the Merit Award for Excellence in Architectural Design by the New Hampshire American Institute of Architects. It's been featured in Boston Magazine ("How a Squam Lake Vacation Home Became a Peaceful Retreat") and Dwell ("A Spectacular Lakeside Retreat in New Hampshire"). Come experience the beauty of Squam Lake and the comfort of staying in a modern light-filled home. The house is nestled in pine trees and perched on a quiet cove. Includes a dock with canoe, kayaks, standup paddleboards, swim raft, ping-pong, and hot tub. There are four bedrooms: Two with queen beds and two with bunkbeds (one has three bottom bunks and one top bunk, the second bunk room has a top and a bottom bunk. The kitchen has brand-new appliances. Lovely views of nature from every room in the house. A media room in the basement includes a large flatscreen monitor, Amazon FireTV, XBox Kinnect and 9-speaker surround sound, hangout space for kids, and a ping pong table. Fast WiFi covers the house and outdoor spaces. Guest access Guests have access to everything except the utility room, a basement workshop, and the motorboat. Other things to note No pets allowed due to owner allergies. No jetskis. This is not a toddler-friendly home. There are lots of windows and few window treatments. Parking available for three cars. No fireworks allowed. Use of motorboat is not included.
