Our carriage house studio apartment is in the historic Old West Lawrence neighborhood near downtown + KU , just a short walk to the stadium for football home games or to dining + entertainment. Enjoy a pvt. bathroom, streaming YouTube TV, wet bar w/ microwave. There is a queen sized sofa bed for up to 2 extra guests. We have a Short-Term Rental License # STR-18-00036 issued by the City of Lawrence. The space Our guest apartment is spacious, with light from widows in all directions. To the south you look over our garden. Please feel free to use the chairs and table in the north yard by the driveway. Guest access You will have your own private entrance to our second floor guest suite. There is a sleeping area, wet bar, with a microwave , toaster oven and mini fridge/freezer and dining table, and a living area with sofa and chairs and cable television. A closet provides shelves and a place to hang clothes. There is a dresser and full length mirror. The bathroom has a tub/shower and dual flush toilet. The computerized thermostat allows you to adjust the temperature to suit your needs. Operable windows on four sides can provide fresh breezes when the weather is nice. For your safety, there are also smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the room. The floors are carpeted except in the bathroom, which is tiled. Other things to note There is designated guest parking to the south of the garage off the alley. you are welcome to pull into the driveway to unload, but otherwise please park behind the building.
