This Farmhouse Cottage is just right for one person or a couple! Located just outside the city limits and close to anywhere in town, yet nestled in on the back of our property under the oaks and pines and looking out over the pasture. Come stay with us next time you come to town! The space The cottage is small but very comfortable, even roomy feeling. It has a full kitchen with dishes and utensils, coffee pot, microwave, convection oven, stove top and full sized refrigerator. There is a window unit AC/heater. There is a covered front porch, and a charcoal grill. There is a Roku TV and WiFi is available. I have veggies and herbs planted in the raised garden beds and you are welcome to pick and use anything that is ripe. Also, fresh eggs are free for you to use while you are here, as long as the hens are laying :) There is a fishing pond and fishing equipment is provided. We have created a new nature trail through the woods that’s perfect for bicycling or walking. You would love this place to slow down a bit and get away from the city pace. Guest access The cottage is on the back of the property so it’s private but not secluded. It is one of two cabins, the other is The Pond Cabin, which is next door. You have your own parking space and keys to the cottage so you can come and go anytime. Other things to note My parents and brothers all have homes on the property, across the creek behind the cottage . There are chickens on the property and the roosters crow. Because of the wooded setting, guests are likely to encounter insects and occasional wildlife. We also have a big ol goofy hound dog named Atticus that roams freely on the property and actually thinks you are here just to visit him! Dog cookies are also provided :)
