Creekside Retreat near Big Moose Lake

Cozy Adirondack home on an acre of wooded land near Big Moose Lake. Peaceful and surrounded by nature yet close to town & many activities. Also, a nice walk or short drive to Duffy's at the Glenmore, Dunn's Marina and Big Moose Chapel. Enjoy a hike on one of the many nearby trails. Rent a boat and spend the day on the lake. Visit the nearby towns of Inlet and Old Forge or stay at home and relax by the garden. The space Great room includes living room, newly renovated kitchen and dining area with a propane fireplace. Three bedrooms are on the first floor with a full bath in the hall and a half bath off the master bedroom. A large loft is upstairs. The breezeway offers extra space for quiet relaxation or a space for the kids to play games on a rainy day. Enjoy meals on the front porch by the garden with gas grill, patio table and rocking chairs. Sit around the campfire at night, make s'mores and check out the stars. Guest access Guests have access to entire house except for the garage. There is also access to the shed for Adirondack chairs to use with the fire pit, cushions & extra propane tanks. Other things to note **Guests must provide their own sheets, pillow cases, towels and washcloths. Please note bed sizes. We provide pillows, blankets and quilts. We do not allow pets. **Trash pick up day is Monday. Any and all remaining trash and recycled items must be taken with you when you leave. Or you may purchase bag labels for $2 each at the Town Clerk's Office or Visitor's Center in Old Forge and drop them off at the Transfer Center there.
