It is "deep" though - at the end of the dock it's at least ten feet. If you are going to swim we would like you to follow common sense safety protocols and never swim alone! There is a ladder attached to the dock for easy "in and out" access to the water. There are several water floats in the storage shed available to use. Enjoy the deck during the warm summer evenings or grab a drink and relax in the hot tub in this serene little corner of lake country. The home is fully furnished and comes with all the kitchen utensils you need to make and serve meals to a small army. Easy driving to downtown Charlotte (40 minutes), Biltmore/Asheville area (90 minutes), Chimney Rock (75 minutes). Or enjoy up and coming Mooresville with its slew of bars, breweries and restaurants! There are so many things to do in the area we think you'll find this to be a great place to stay and relax or make a great home base for excursions all over the beautiful Western Carolina countryside. You are also close to a nearby public boat launch area - the Hager Creek access area is less than two miles away from the house.
