This sunny space is on the top floor of a brownstone, overlooking a tree-lined Brooklyn street only 20 minutes from Manhattan. It is newly renovated, comfortable, peaceful and close to everything you need for a wonderful stay in NYC. The space A well-appointed studio on the 3rd floor of a historic brownstone built in 1899, this private space has three large windows and is filled with sunlight. It is newly renovated with restored hard wood floors, newly painted walls and new kitchen countertops. It is a stylishly comfortable place at an affordable rate, a stone's throw from Manhattan. Fully equipped with linens, dishes, and comfortable furnishings, an original decorative (non operational) fireplace and claw-food bathtub with shower. Though cozy, it is well designed and can sleep 3 by virtue of a comfortable queen sized bed as well as an available high-end air mattress that is the height of a regular bed and as comfortable too. Perfect for a couple, small family or close friends. This Brooklyn neighborhood is charming and tree-lined, and the popular neighborhood cafe is a half-block away. Shopping, restaurants, and laundry are all within a short walking distance, and the subway station is a 5-min walk. A trip to Manhattan takes only 18 mins to downtown and 30 to Times Square. Convenient New York Location: Three blocks from A express to Manhattan (15 mins to Wall Street, 35 to Times Square), ½ block to grocery store and laundromat, one or two blocks from coffee shops, one block from good bistro-style restaurant, wine shops close by, three doors down from small park with playground. This newly-renovated apartment is completely private, with locked door, on the top-floor of a townhouse occupied by a family (us). On rare occasions, guests may see us in the hallway (two parents and our high-school aged daughter), coming in or out of the building. Guests can feel free to ask questions about NYC or the neighborhood at any time, but are also assured of privacy. Guest access We will greet you with the keys upon arrival, then you can come and go from the house on your own schedule. Other things to note Our only strict rule is no smoking inside (tobacco or otherwise).
